Our mirrors are individually cut to suit the measurements and requirements of each project. Depending on the application, we use 4mm or 6mm mirror and can create:

A custom mirror can do much more than fill a blank wall. It can follow the architecture of the room, complement the lines of a vanity or become a feature in its own right.

Bathroom and Vanity Mirrors

A custom bathroom mirror can be made to align precisely with your vanity, cabinetry, tiles and surrounding fixtures.

Rather than being restricted to a standard size, you can choose a mirror that:

  • Matches the width and proportions of your vanity

  • Extends from the benchtop to the ceiling

  • Fits neatly between walls or cabinetry

  • Accommodates tapware, shelving, power points or light fittings

  • Introduces an arch, curve or organic shape

  • Uses a tinted or antique finish as a design feature

All tiling, cabinetry and other permanent finishes must be installed before the final measure. This allows us to account for the finished dimensions and precisely position any cut-outs, notches and shaped edges.

We can remove an existing mirror upon request. However, we do not currently replace the glass inside customer-supplied frames.

Mirrors for Living Spaces

A custom frameless mirror can introduce more light, a greater sense of space and a strong architectural feature to an entry, bedroom, dining room, hallway or living area.

Custom manufacturing allows the mirror to respond to the room rather than forcing a standard shape into the space. It can be positioned to reflect a view, brighten a darker area, complement the curves or angles within the interior, or create a focal point on an otherwise simple wall.

Customers are welcome to bring inspiration images, drawings, tile samples, cabinetry finishes, benchtop samples or paint colours into our showroom. Heidi can help you compare these elements with the available mirror colours, shapes and edge treatments.

Wall-to-Wall Mirrors for Gyms and Studios

Geographe Glass Co supplies and installs custom mirror walls for:

Large walls can be covered using multiple carefully aligned mirror panels to create a clean, consistent reflective surface.

We can work from studio or commercial plans, manage installations across long walls or multiple rooms, and coordinate the work around other trades. Where required, installation outside ordinary operating hours can also be discussed to minimise disruption to your clients and classes.

Site conditions, wall construction, access and the intended use of the room will all be considered when recommending the appropriate mirror thickness and installation method.

Supply-only Mirrors

For straightforward projects, we can manufacture a mirror using dimensions supplied by the customer without completing a site measure. It is important that all dimensions, shapes and cut-out positions are checked carefully, as the customer is responsible for the accuracy of supplied measurements.

Supply-only mirrors can be collected from our Strelly Street showroom or delivered to the project address. For larger mirrors, we recommend delivery using our specialised glass truck to reduce the risk associated with transporting and handling the glass.

If you would prefer us to take responsibility for the measurements, handling and installation, Rob can arrange a site visit.

Mirrored Splashbacks

Mirrored splashbacks can bring depth and light into kitchens, home bars and entertaining spaces while providing an easy-to-clean surface.

Standard silver, grey, smoked, bronze, antique and other decorative mirror options can be used to complement cabinetry, benchtops and the wider interior.

Each splashback is custom measured and can include the required cut-outs and notches for power points, switches and other fixtures.

Professional Measuring and Installation

Rob and Corban complete the site measuring and installation, with Rob remaining involved throughout the project.

Most mirrors are installed using specialised mirror adhesive applied directly to the prepared surface. Selected standoff mounting systems may also be used where they are appropriate for the design and application.

Mirrors can be installed on a range of surfaces, including:

  • Painted and plastered walls

  • Tiles

  • Stone

  • Cabinetry

  • Brick

  • Other suitably prepared surfaces

Oversized, unusually shaped and multi-panel mirrors require careful assessment to determine the appropriate glass thickness, panel layout, handling method and installation system.

Rob’s background as a qualified engineer and his more than 20 years of project-management experience are particularly valuable for technically challenging installations, unusual shapes and large commercial mirror walls.
