CUSTOM WARDROBE SLIDING DOORS

Complete your bedroom or storage space with custom sliding wardrobe doors, measured and made specifically for the finished opening.

Geographe Glass Co supplies and installs framed sliding wardrobe doors for new homes, renovations and existing wardrobe upgrades across Busselton and the South West. Choose from mirrored, painted-glass and frosted-glass finishes, with aluminium frames available in colours to coordinate with your interior.

Whether you need one replacement wardrobe or custom doors throughout a new home, Rob will remain personally involved from the initial discussion and site measure through to installation.

Custom-Made Sliding Wardrobe Doors

Every wardrobe-door system is custom-made to suit the dimensions of the completed opening.

Available configurations include:

  • Two-door systems

  • Three-door systems

  • Four or more sliding doors

  • Floor-to-ceiling wardrobe doors

  • Doors up to 2700mm high

  • Walk-in wardrobe entrances

  • Linen cupboards

  • Household storage cupboards

  • Home-office storage

Our sliding doors are installed within a framed aluminium system using one consistent, streamlined profile. Adjustable rollers allow each door to be aligned and adjusted for smooth operation within its tracks.

Vinyl-backed Glass Wardrobe Doors

Painted-glass doors provide a clean, contemporary alternative to traditional wardrobe panels.

The glass can be colour-matched to any Dulux paint colour, allowing the wardrobe doors to coordinate with your walls, cabinetry and other interior finishes. Choose a subtle neutral that blends into the room or use a contrasting colour to turn the wardrobe into a stronger design feature.

Customers are welcome to bring paint, flooring, cabinetry and fabric samples to our Strelly Street showroom. Heidi can help you compare these finishes with the available glass and frame options.

Mirrored Wardrobe Doors

Standard silver mirror is our most popular wardrobe-door finish. Each mirrored panel is safety-backed and installed within its own aluminium frame.

Mirrored wardrobe doors provide a practical full-length mirror without requiring additional wall space. They also reflect natural and artificial light throughout the room, helping bedrooms and smaller spaces feel brighter and more open.

Other mirror colours and decorative finishes may be considered upon request.

Recessed and Surface-Mounted Tracks

Sliding wardrobe doors require a floor track to guide the doors and keep them aligned.

Tracks can be installed over:

  • Carpet

  • Tiles

  • Timber

  • Vinyl

  • Concrete

  • Other appropriately prepared flooring

For new homes and larger renovations, a recessed track can be installed before the finished flooring is laid. This creates a more integrated transition between the room and the wardrobe opening.

If you would like a recessed track, contact us early enough for the installation to be coordinated with your builder and flooring contractor.

Where the flooring has already been completed, a surface-mounted track can be installed over the finished floor.

New Wardrobes and Existing Openings

3

Geographe Glass Co supplies the custom doors, frames, tracks, side jambs and pelmets required to complete the wardrobe opening. Internal shelving and cabinetry are not included.

Our doors can be installed in front of:

  • A newly completed wardrobe interior

  • Existing shelves and hanging rails

  • An open built-in wardrobe

  • A walk-in wardrobe entrance

  • An existing cupboard requiring new doors

The owner or builder is responsible for ensuring the opening is structurally prepared before installation. The walls, flooring, painting and skirting boards should generally be complete before the final measure.

Slightly out-of-square openings can often be accommodated through custom measuring and adjustment of the framed system.

Replacing Existing Wardrobe Doors

2

Existing sliding wardrobe doors can be replaced while retaining the internal shelving and storage.

Geographe Glass Co can remove and dispose of the existing doors and tracks upon request before installing the new custom system.

In certain circumstances, we may also be able to replace individual doors, tracks or rollers without replacing the complete system. This depends on whether our current components are compatible with the existing wardrobe-door system.

Rob will inspect the doors and tracks before advising whether a partial replacement is practical.

Supply-Only Wardrobe Doors

Custom sliding wardrobe doors are available on either a supply-and-install or supply-only basis.

For supply-only orders, accurate opening dimensions and specifications will need to be provided and confirmed before manufacturing. The customer or installer is responsible for ensuring that supplied measurements are correct and that the opening is appropriately prepared.

If you would prefer Geographe Glass Co to take responsibility for measuring, fitting and adjusting the complete system, Rob can arrange a site visit and professional installation.

Whether you are updating an existing bedroom, completing a new home or coordinating wardrobes across a builder project, Geographe Glass Co can create sliding doors made specifically for each opening.

Get in touch using our contact form and include any plans, photographs, approximate opening measurements or finish inspiration you have available.
